Pixie Meadowbrite® Coneflower

Echinacea ‘CBG Cone2’ PP#18546

Pixie Meadowbrite® coneflower has proven over time to not only be a charming and still unique appearing coneflower, but it is one of the longest-lived coneflowers in a garden setting. A plethora of small but cute flower heads with slightly upturned vibrant-pink rays are produced on sturdy and branched stems from July into September. The hirsute foliage and stems enhances its appearance. A complex hybrid between Echinacea tennesseensis, Echinacea angustifolia, and Echinacea purpurea, this plant was bred and selected by Dr. Jim Ault of the Chicago Botanic Garden. Drought-tolerant once stablished. For full sun and well-drained soils. Hardy to USDA Zones 4 – 8.
